Originating as the solo project of guitarist and songwriter Ingrid Buckley, MacBuck grew into an indie rock trio in 2021, currently with the additions of Salina Kuo (St. John's Wort, River Full of Fruit) and Thomas Hagan (Sargasso, The Lunar Calendar).

From the earliest recordings based out of their hometown in Southeast Ohio, to the DIY venues of Philadelphia, MacBuck finds inspiration from both the unexpected and the mundane of city living. Stolen bicycles, long walks, friendships gained and lost, all weave together creating narratives that flow through each song, holding firm to a sense of place and belonging.
