For the first time ever, The Garcia Project brings its nationally touring “Jerry Garcia Band Time Machine” to The Colonial Theatre for a special Days Between celebration. For over 15 years, The Garcia Project has built a reputation as the most authentic and immersive tribute to the classic Jerry Garcia Band, recreating full concert experiences from 1976–1995 — not just the songs, but the feel, flow, and spirit of an actual night with Jerry’s band. This isn’t a greatest hits set. This is a journey. Often called the “DSO of JGB,” The Garcia Project faithfully performs complete, classic Jerry Garcia Band setlists — capturing the deep grooves, soulful ballads, and transcendent peaks that made these shows legendary. From “Sugaree” to “Don’t Let Go,” from gospel-inspired moments to extended improvisational explorations, every performance is built to channel the warmth, emotion, and healing tones that defined the Jerry Garcia Band experience. Each show is unique. Each night stands on its own. And during the Days Between — the annual celebration surrounding Jerry Garcia’s birthday — the energy, connection, and community reach another level.
