About the Artist:
Jose Amador and TERRA NOVA is San Antonio’s premier Latin Jazz band. Performing all over South Central Texas for the past 7 years. Band Leader and percussionist Jose Amador hails from Quebradillas, Puerto Rico and has delighted fans with his brand of original Latin Jazz music as well as innovative arrangements of classic Jazz compositions of Jazz legends Dizzy Gillespie, Horace Silver, Tito Puente and many more.
Event Description:
On Saturdays, beginning March 16 through May 4, head down to Stable Hall to experience Sabor Sessions a matinee series combining live music and Lotería (Mexican Bingo) created in partnership with ¡Qué Sabor! San Antonio™ Lotería, is a tribute to San Antonio's distinctive culinary scene. This colorful and novel version of the popular game was created in the spirit of the historic games from the past several hundred years.
Lotería winners will walk away with prizes including Stable Hall concert tickets and merchandise, lotería games, gift cards, and more from community partners.
The venue’s first floor transforms into a seated game lounge with cocktail tables and larger format tables for those coming with groups and families. The seating is general admission open seating, first come, first serve. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to get settled before the games begin at 12 PM.
The collaborative series is supported by the World Heritage Office and Texas Public Radio.
