Texas Tornado Tradition is a high-energy celebration of the legendary music and legacy of the Texas Tornados, featuring original member Louie
Ortega and former member Michael Guerra.

With direct ties to the band and its history, the show blends Tex-Mex, conjunto, country, rock & roll, blues, cumbias, and American roots music.
This is more than a tribute. This is the music performed by musicians who helped carry the tradition forward.
THE LEGACY
The Texas Tornados - Doug Sahm, Freddy Fender, Flaco Jimenez, and Augie Meyers - created a Grammy-winning sound joining Tex-Mex and
conjunto with country, rock & roll, blues, and R&B. Texas Tornado Tradition keeps that legacy alive.
LOUIE ORTEGA
Original Texas Tornados Guitarist & Vocalist
Grammy-winning singer, songwriter, and guitarist; veteran of the Texas
Tornados and Sir Douglas Quintet. His voice, guitar work, and firsthand
connection to the Tornados are at the heart of the show.

MICHAEL GUERRA

recorded with Raul Malo & The Mavericks, Flaco Jimenez, Los Lonely
