BandWagon Battle of the Bands (Denver Preliminary) @ The Roxy Theatre feat. Mrs. Nezbitt, The Yeah Dawgs, Mae Hunniford, wulfsun, The Unsolved

Friday, November 13th 2026 | Doors @ 6PM | Show @ 7PM

It’s our favorite time of year again, when we celebrate local music with some healthy competition between Colorado’s best bands at the BandWagon Battle of the Bands.

The series has run annually since 2011. Four preliminary rounds across Colorado send bands to the finale. Nothing is awarded at the prelims. Every band plays the finale on Saturday, January 23rd, 2027 at the Moxi Theater in Greeley, where one band walks away with $5,000 and the cover of BandWagon Magazine.

The prelims: Denver, Friday, November 13 at The Roxy Theatre. Colorado Springs, Saturday, November 14 at Lulu's Downtown. Fort Collins, Saturday, November 21 at Sound Bar. Greeley, Friday, December 4 at the Moxi Theater. Doors are at 6PM and music starts at 7PM at every show.

The performances are judged by about ten judges with strong ties to the Colorado music scene, plus a fan voting system. Submit your band to compete HERE. Apple to be a judge HERE. Put your brand on the bill through a sponsorship HERE. And of course, support your local music scene by showing up and casting your fan votes!

BandWagon Presents
BandWagon Presents is Colorado and Wyoming's independent concert promoter. We started in March 2011 as BandWagon Magazine, covering live music in northern Colorado and southern Wyoming, and expanded into concert promotion in 2021. Today we book and operate shows at the Moxi Theater, The Rialto Casper, Lulu's Downtown, Black Buzzard at Oskar Blues Denver, Gaslight Social, The Lincoln Theatre, Stella's Pinball, and more across the Rockies. We also publish BandWagon Magazine, a monthly independent arts and entertainment publication distributing in print across northern Colorado and southern Wyoming.
