Get to know the artists!
Caardia is a female-fronted, alternative rock group based in Toronto, Ontario. Made up of sisters Annie and Celia Siriopoulos, Caardia has been writing original music and performing across the GTA for over 10 years. These FACTOR grant recipients have released 2 EPs, and have partnered with producer Devon Lougheed to create their first rock album, releasing in fall 2026. Their sister connection is injected into their creative process, where listeners feel their telepathy through energetic originals, hard rock classics, and blending harmonies that leave the crowd’s energy high and wanting more. Career highlights include Canadian Music Week, Breaking Sound, Wintersong Festival, Indie Week, GIFFT of Canada, touring with world-renowned musician Pavlo, and headlining iconic Toronto venues including the Rivoli, Sneaky Dee’s, the Horseshoe Tavern, the Supermarket, and the Cameron House among others. Accompanying them are members Gideon Litvin (guitar), Adam Kurgatnikov (bass), and Chad Chevalier (drums).
Viscaira represents for us the removal of the mask which conceals our thoughts, revealing the emotions that are pure, spiritual and internal. Surrendering more of who we are to be the musicians we need in this life. Influenced heavily by our familial roots from the Caribbean, Barbados, Bermuda and Jamaica, all the way to Italy in Europe, please don't be quick to judge this book by its cover. Thank you and we appreciate your support.
