AIDS Response Effort, Inc. (ARE), is a 501(c)3 organization that provides innovative approaches to improve health disparities in the Winchester/Frederick County/Shenandoah Valley region. ARE, Inc. recently announced the creation of the LGBTQ+ Center in Downtown Winchester to fill a growing need in the region for LGBTQ+ individuals to grow in community together. The Center will offer safe zone and trans affirming trainings, support groups, book clubs, holiday dinners, a food pantry, trans closet, and much much more!
