Based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Freak Juice has entertained fans on stage with their eclectic style infused with rock, funk, jazz, reggae, blues and hip hop. The band has toured worldwide with performances at national music festivals such as the Essence Festival and the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Annual Festival. Tori Ruffin is the founder of the band with 25 years in the industry. He has worked with some of the most acclaimed industry professionals and Grammy Award Winners, including Prince, Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, Mick Jagger, Lenny Kravitz, American Idol’s Randy Jackson, Lenny Kravitz, Aretha Franklin, DJ Quick, Bobby Brown and Flyte Tyme’s Terry Lewis & Jimmy Jam. HIs merits include his role as head guitarist for Morris Day and the Time and afro-punk pioneers Fishbone.
Each member of the band is a seasoned professional with many years of experience on stage as well as in the studio. Keeping things in the pocket and holding down the bottom, on bass guitar, Tulsa legend, Charlie Redd. Charlie has toured with Morris Day and the Time, Texas blues legend Jimmie Vaughan, Eric Clapton, Bonnie Raitt and LL Cool J. Holding down the beat, with power, finesse and more chops than you’ll find in a Bruce Lee dojo is Stanley Fairy on drums. Stanley has toured with Tevin Campbell, Wayman Tisdale, Pink, and Nelly Furtado. Christian Mason, bassist & producer with T.I., Ledesi, & TLC.
