Join Nate Bass at Island Hopper Songwriter Fest: Luminary Hotel & Co.'s Workshop Dinner Experience! Nate Bass is a British singer-songwriter and lead vocalist of acclaimed UK country trio Essex County, now stepping into an exciting solo chapter. He has performed at some of the world’s most iconic venues, including The Ryman Auditorium (twice), London’s Palladium Theatre alongside Brian May, Ronnie Wood and Van Morrison, and Nashville’s Wildhorse Saloon for the CMA Fest International Stage.
A BMI songwriter, Nate’s music has generated over 5 million streams, topping Spotify’s New Boots and Country Christmas playlists. He also performed the title track “Bullet Proof Heart” for Stephen Dorff’s western film Dead Man’s Hand.
In 2026, Nate recorded 25 new songs on Nashville’s legendary Music Row, working with some of the industry’s finest musicians, including Eddie Bayers Jr., Jeff King and Dane Bryant. His new solo project blends contemporary country, Americana and heartfelt storytelling, bringing a distinctive British voice to today’s modern country scene.

Starter: Poached Pear Salad - mixed greens, goat cheese, and candied walnuts

- Airline Chicken — tomato chutney, roasted herb potatoes, and asparagus
- Vegetarian Option — vegetable fried rice, teriyaki tofu crispy bites, and broccolini
Dessert: Berry panna cotta with sponge cake crumbs and vanilla Chantilly
Beverage: Cash bar serving beer, wine, seltzers, and cocktails availble inside the event.

About Island Hopper Songwriter Fest:
With a successful 11-year history, the Island Hopper Songwriter Fest (IHSF) is a 10-day music festival in Southwest Florida featuring performances by the greatest BMI singer-songwriters from Nashville and nationwide. The festival is broken up into four locations with the first weekend kicking off on Captiva Island, then moving to Cape Coral and downtown Fort Myers during the week, and ending with a weekend on Fort Myers Beach. The majority of the 60+ shows are free with special ticketed experiences.
