Infusing influences of new wave, soul and R&B, Joquaim’s discography weaves together a collection of sound that’s an entirely refreshing and unexpected twist on old favourites. The textured production and impeccable song-crafting bring to life richly narrated perspectives on spiritual growth and self-identity.
Although Ro Joaquim hails from the UK, Toronto has already claimed him as their own — that’s probably why his visage adorns a one-storey mural in the downtown core.
