Rankin MacInnis - Music Nova Scotia's Entertainer of the Year comes with a big band and a big sound. Known for their eclectic, high-energy shows, Rankin and the Broken Reeds bring together the region’s top musical talent for a live-music experience unlike anything you’ve seen before -- one that feels like it spans time and genres, from traditional folk to future pop, fueled by a lot of groove and finished with a bit of grit. Together, the band has built an award-winning music festival (Blueberry Jam), a first-of-its-kind concert series (Rankin’s Winter Warmers), and a community of creative collaborators who are up for anything -- and fans who can’t wait to see what’s next. And what’s next is the band’s highly anticipated debut full-length studio album, coming in 2024 - Rankin’s first since House Party with Party Boots in 2019.
MONEKA ARABIC JAZZ is a project reflecting my life and journey in art from Baghdad to Toronto. It showcases melody from my homeland Iraq mixed with African groove and rhythm that I inherited from the Moneka Family. Because my journey brought me now in Toronto, Canada, I am honoured to share this heritage and traditions with local Canadian musicians. Jazz and blues is the best genre to bridge my afro-arabic background and the fascinating musical diversity of torontonian performers. I often find inspiration to write songs by researching old stories from Iraq as realities of the present moment locally or internationally. Focussing on the past inspires analysis, while the future inspires visions and dreams.

The TD Halifax Jazz Festival lets you pick your preferred concert experience by choosing from four types of tickets for Main Stage performances:
1. General Admission Ticket - gets you access to the Main Stage site and all our public amenities. Not Applicable for this show
2. Bleacher Ticket - $10 + fees - gets you a seat at the back of the performance space. The bleachers offer a clear view of the stage and a comfy spot to take in the show. Specific seats are first-come, first-serve.
Please note: Limited complimentary seating will be available in front of the bleachers. A dedicated accessible seating platform is also available free of charge.
3. Stagefront Seating Ticket - $50 + fees gets you a reserved chair right in front of the stage, with a spectacular view of the performance. You can also order beverages for delivery right to your seat.
4. Premium Section Ticket - $60 + fees - gets you access to a space away from the bustling crowd, with a clear view of the stage, select seating, and high-top tables. The section is served by a private bar and washroom. Specific seats are first-come, first-serve.

No professional cameras or audio/video recording devices allowed
19 + for all evening shows at the festival's TD Main Stage located on the Halifax waterfront (ID required).
**If you are under 19 you need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian (you will be asked to show ID) and they will be required to be onsite with you and be responsible for your supervision at the festival's TD Main Stage on the Halifax waterfront. This is because of the festival's license to sell alcohol. If the concert is designated 19+ and not at the TD Main Stage, then you are not able to attend.
