2024 TD Halifax Jazz Festival Presents Charlotte Day Wilson and Nick Hakim
Saturday, July 13th, 2024
Toronto-born-and-raised singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Charlotte Day Wilson’s warm voice and smoldering anthems have earned raves throughout an illustrious career. She’s been sampled by Drake, John Mayer, and James Blake, while Patti Smith recently praised and covered Wilson’s 2016 breakout single “Work.” Her new album, Cyan Blue, arrives May 3.
Critically-acclaimed artist Nick Hakim’s sound fluidly embraces R&B, soul, indie, psychedelia and more. Based in Queens, New York, the singer and multi-instrumentalist has collaborated with the likes of Erykah Badu, Anderson .Paak, BADBADNOTGOOD, Mac DeMarco, Onyx Collective and many more.
